Premise Training Center: CITCA Regional Training Facility

Starting in 2024, our Premise Training Center will serve the national construction industry as an official CITCA Regional Training Facility. Joining the CITCA headquarters location in Bradley, IL, plus a few other national locations, Premise is proud and excited to be able to offer world-class CITCA training and certification programs. These training and certification programs will serve industries such as telecommunications, wind, construction, and more. 2024 calendars are being finalized now, and we will share opportunities as they are solidified!

Gundersen Envision Solar Canopy Project

With the opening of the #solarcanopy atop the Blue Ramp in La Crosse, Gundersen Health System will become one of the largest private owners of solar energy in the Tri-State region. It will produce 1,000 Megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity for the hospital each year — enough to power 10,600 homes annually and offset 10% of the hospital's energy use!

Premise is proud to have taken this project from concept to production to reality with the Gundersen Envision team! Last week's ribbon-cutting ceremony was an impressive display of the team's passion for #sustainability and #cleanenergy!

NWSA Proctor Training at the PTC

A few weeks ago, the Premise Training Center was host to a 3-day National Wireless Safety Alliance TTT1 & TTT2 Practical Exam Proctor Credentialing Workshop. The workshop took the attendees through the revamped practical exam components, and taught them a lot! Huge thanks to instructor, Adam Drieling for all your guidance and effort with the group!

We will be posting available appointments for TTT1 & TTT2 Practical exams on our website very soon. All exams will be held at the Premise Training Center.

1-Port PIM Training at the PTC

Yesterday marked another first for the Premise Training Center — we hosted an Avalon Test Equipment/ConcealFab/Valmont 1-port PIM class. This training & certification session taught our wireless professionals how to precisely locate and mitigate external PIM at a cell site.

Instructor John Rice spent the entire day with the crew, with both classroom and practical work time. Everyone learned a lot, and we look forward to building a long-term partnership with Avalon moving forward!

Premise Training Center + AVIVO = Practical Career Training!

Premise was happy to host David Boddy’s Telecommunications and Support class at the Premise Training Center on Tuesday January 17, 2023. The group was from AVIVO’s Institute of Career and Technical Education.

Our Trainer, Chris Nicholls was able to teach and demonstrate some basics of wireless systems (including PPE and fall protection), as well as show the students the Capstan Hoist, practice a little bit of tool work, demo a tower rescue, and answer tons of questions about the industry.

Everyone had a great time, and we look forward to hosting the next group — and building a long-term partnership with AVIVO moving forward!

The Premise Training Center

One of the great features of our new building is our Training Center. We're able to run our CITCA training courses and NWSA exams right out of our own home. Happening with new hires recently — Rescue training on our 20' training tower. Soon to come — a second newly-fabricated training tower!

NEW BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE - 5/22

This month has been a mix of moving, setting things up, and figuring out how to operate in our new space. While the project work continued at 100%, we've also found time to get ourselves settled into our space.

As you can see, people are starting to make themselves at home. And that's just what we were excited to see.

Of course there's still more work to do to get it all running, but it's really amazing. More pics to come soon!

NEW BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE: APRIL 2022

Over the last month, our amazing Warehouse team has undertaken the massive task of setting up a brand new warehouse while moving their materials from the old to the new location. And over the last week, some key construction tasks and inspections took place on the overall project...which meant it was time to move the rest!

Hundreds of moving boxes and trips back and forth later....and we are just about in. People are here and are setting up their new spaces. We're making lots of coffee. And we're really happy to see our teams in person in this amazing new space.

There's still lots of work to do to get it all set up, but it's really amazing. More pics to come soon!

NEW. BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE - 3/22 PART 2

Just in the last week, some very exciting updates have happened! Our warehouse team has begun the installation of pallet racking and the moving of some inventory to the new space, lighting has been hung in the main office area, custom-made cabinetry has started to appear throughout the space, and we've finally got some glass in some of our meeting rooms! It's looking great!
